Fabian Schmieder

Fabian Schmieder is a Professor of Media Law at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where he also currently serves as Vice President for Digitalization and IT. His research and teaching focus on the intersection of IT and law, particularly in copyright and data protection law, with a strong emphasis on the capabilities of generative AI. In addition to examining its impact on traditional legal fields, he also conducts research on the regulation of AI itself.
