Bettina-Maria Müller
Bettina has been a professor at IU International University in Munich since 2022. She studied architecture at the Technical University of Munich and at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid. Her professional experience includes work in architecture offices in London, Guadalajara (Mexico), Barcelona, and Munich.
She spent ten years as a senior academic assistant at the Technical University of Munich, followed by a two-year guest professorship at the University of Applied Sciences in Biberach.
In 2015, she founded bmquadrat | Architektur + Design - specializing in existing buildings, circular construction, and adaptive reuse. Research focuses on the potential of vacancy and reuse strategies. Her doctoral thesis explored the transformation of church buildings.
